The title Modest Truth puns on the truth to purpose ideology that celebrates a reductive aesthetic which most of Lueckenhausns work eschews. A Queensland Silver Ash vertical panel, spanning a gap between a clumn and a wall, supports four Queensland Silky Oak cubes arranged vertically with the top and two bottom cubes extending into the room and the second cube from the top extending towards the doorway. The latter cube opens through the vertical panel providing a window and the capacity to view the object displayed from both sides. The cubes protruding to either side build on an inside/outside, either side of a barrier, image with the peek window offering a glimpse of what is otherwise hidden.
